Add your Nowlark form to a site you build yourself

Put the form you made in Nowlark on a site you build yourself: paste the code, follow 3 steps, or let your AI agent do it, then check that it is live.

Three ways to do it, each ending with the same check. Start on the form's page in Nowlark, under Put this form on your site, and choose Your own HTML.

Paste it in#

Click the Copy code button: it is one line that draws the form where you paste it, ready for Your own HTML.

Do it yourself#

On a computer:

  1. Open the page's HTML file, or the template your site is built from.
  2. Paste the code where the form should appear.
  3. Publish the change the way you always do, such as a commit and a push.

If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy, allow https://nowlark.com in its script-src, style-src, connect-src and form-action. Or click Show the plain HTML on the form's page in Nowlark: it sends even with scripts turned off.

Have your AI agent do it#

Click Copy prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or the coding agent you use. The prompt carries your form's code, these steps for Your own HTML and how to check the form is live, so an agent that can edit your site places it and runs the check, and one that cannot walks you through each step.

Check that it is live#

  1. Back on the form's page in Nowlark, type the address of the page the form is on and click Check my site. Nowlark opens that one page and looks for the form's code.
  2. Fix anything it names, such as your site's address not yet being on the form's list of sites, or a security setting on your site that blocks outside scripts.
  3. Open your page in a new tab: the status beside Check my site turns to Live as the form loads.
