Put the form you made in Nowlark on your WordPress.com site: paste the code, follow 4 steps, or let your AI agent do it, then check that it is live.
Three ways to do it, each ending with the same check. Start on the form's page in Nowlark, under Put this form on your site, and choose WordPress.com.
Paste it in#
Click the Copy code button: it is one line that draws the form where you paste it, ready for WordPress.com.
WordPress.com keeps the code only on a plan that lets you install plugins, and only after you have installed at least one plugin. Until then, it removes the code when you save.
On a plan without plugins, click Show the link on the form's page in Nowlark, add a Buttons block, click the link icon on its button, paste the link and press Enter.
Do it yourself#
On a computer:
- Open the page the form goes on and click the plus sign where the form should appear.
- Search for Custom HTML and add that block.
- Paste the code into the box that opens and click Update.
- Click Save, or Publish on a new page.
Have your AI agent do it#
Click Copy prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or the coding agent you use. The prompt carries your form's code, these steps for WordPress.com and how to check the form is live, so an agent that can edit your site places it and runs the check, and one that cannot walks you through each step.
Check that it is live#
- Back on the form's page in Nowlark, type the address of the page the form is on and click Check my site. Nowlark opens that one page and looks for the form's code.
- Fix anything it names, such as your site's address not yet being on the form's list of sites, or a security setting on your site that blocks outside scripts.
- Open your page in a new tab: the status beside Check my site turns to Live as the form loads.
